Nuclear powered ships and submarines have some of the best safety records so I don’t know what the Japanese are complaining about.

It’s just a bunch of noisy anti-nuke busy bodies. We have them here too.

Just ignore them. They hate that.

They are members of the cult religious community to call itself a citizen’s group.
They add every false charge to the Japan Self-Defense Force and the United States Armed Force.

However, they say in this way.
“China’s nuclear weapon is clean nuclear weapon.”

Most Japanese do not have anything to do with such a madman.

Freedom of speech is something our military is bound to defend, isn’t it? When i was in the Navy we found these protests just mildly annoying: the usual suspects, just like stateside.

I think they are stupid, people protest way to much about stuff anyway. that Carrier will effect them in no way, they’re just Anti-American.

jim the US was never the sole ruler of Japan, and as a matter of fact never ruled Japan.

I understand the inherent worries of the Japanese people… then again, they have their OWN reactors with problems. There are almost CONSTANT protests outside of Yokosuka… God Bless Free Speech.

Several other articles I’ve read have noted that the ACTUAL radiation leaked by the submarine amounted to less that would be received during a day at the beach.

There is actually VERY little information about the PROTESTS in that article.
